Back in the 1980’s the Quarry diversified from just processing the grit and set up a “Ready Mixed Concrete” plant, originally this plant was set up and operated one Mixer truck we now keep six full time Mixer trucks including one with a demountable conveyor.
The concrete is manufactured using our own 20mm chippings and imported Sand & Cement. The concrete is CQA registered and ISO 9002 compliant. Any waste concrete is processed in our state-of-the-art recycler to minimise the impact on the environment.
